Otaku Choice Awards 2016 (OCA 2016) is now officially starting. We have thought a lot whether to continue OCA or not but after much discussion we decided to pursue it. This year we are extending it to more categories and even introducing an “Otaku Choice Awards Jury”. The Jury will choose their own recipients based on their discussion for the “Focus Awards”
Otaku Choice Awards 2016 Jury
OCA Jury’s task is to choice and vote for their favorite depending on the categories. The set of jury will be composed of a total of 11 people (9 are chosen by the OCA committee and 2 will be from the people who are willing to apply to be part of the set of jury). Also, these juries will be gathered for one day to discuss, nominate and vote.
We will be announcing the members of the jury by January 2017 but we might announce some of the members this December as soon as they accept our invitation.
Otaku Choice Awards 2016 Awarding Ceremony
We are working out to make Otaku Choice Awards 2016 (OCA 2016) meaningful and memorable to all. We will be working out to have a very simple awarding ceremony where we can honor the awardees and also thank all our supporters.
Here are previous OCA results:
Otaku Choice Awards 2016 Nomination
All nominations should be those who had performed well or had occurred from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. We have changed the duration and timeline of OCA in order to make it a whole year inclusion. Previously we are choosing it on the mid of the year which we see as unfair to other events.
All you have to do is fill out the nomination form below and submit it to us. Consequently, the top 5 nominees per category will be reveal by 2nd week of February 2017 and voting will begin. Finally, voting will be from February 15, 2017 to March 31, 2017.
